RESERVATIONS

In order to make a reservation with Excel rental cars a 10% deposit is required.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

Current New Zealand driving license, international licenses (or English written) and international driving permits are accepted.

INSURANCE

All our prices include GST, unlimited kilometers, AA breakdown service and a full comprehensive insurance.
Rental vehicle and third party insurance is included in our rates and is subject to a an excess. This excess can be reduced by the purchase of our excess reduction insurance.
 

AIRPORT SERVICE

We operate a friendly "Meet & Greet" service at New Zealand Airports. We also offer a free pickup and drop-off at accomodation in the airport vicinity.

PICK-UPS AND DROP-OFFS

Office hours are from 8.30 AM till 5.00 PM.
We provide a pickup and drop-off service outside these office hours, a service fee of $35 applies.
 

PAYMENT

We accept all major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, BankCard, and American Express.

DAILY RATES

Each day is a 24 hour Period. Please note that late returns are charged accordingly.

PETROL

All vehicles are supplied with a full tank. All vehicles must be returned from hire with a full tank. The vehicle will be filled at the hirer's cost with an added surcharge should the vehicle be returned unfilled at the end of a hire.

CANCELLATION POLICY & REFUNDS

After confirmation of your reservation the following cancellation fees apply.

RENTAL CARS

• 10% non refundable deposit;
• Cancellation within 48 hours of pickup incurs a further $150 cancellation fee;
• No show on pick up date incurs a further NZ$150 cancellation fee + 3 days rental;
• No refunds are given on unused days (early returns).

FERRY BOOKINGS

 Ferry reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to  departure, hereafter there's no refund. Cancellations before 48 hours incur a $50 cancellation fee.
